Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Challenges (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Description
Challenges is a marketplace where coaches publish structured multi-day programs ("Challenges") and buyers purchase access to them. The Platform facilitates transactions but is not a party to the agreement between coaches and challengers.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
4. Payments & Fees
All payments are processed through Stripe. The Platform retains a percentage of each transaction as a platform fee (12% on the first $1,000/month per coach, 10% thereafter). Paid challenges must be priced at a minimum of $5.00 USD. Referral discounts and reward coupons reduce the transaction amount; platform fees are calculated on the discounted price.
5. Coach Responsibilities
Coaches are responsible for the accuracy and quality of the content they publish. Coaches must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts. Coaches may not publish illegal, harmful, or misleading content. Each coach account is limited to one free challenge (price $0) at a time. Unpublished draft challenges inactive for more than 30 days may be automatically removed from the Platform. Published challenges that have generated no revenue within 60 days of publication may be automatically unpublished.
6. Buyer Responsibilities
Purchases grant personal, non-transferable access to challenge content. You may not share, redistribute, or resell challenge content. Refunds are available for paid challenges within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not started the challenge (zero completed days). To request a refund, use the refund option on your challenge card in My Challenges. Refunds are processed automatically via Stripe and typically arrive within 5–10 business days. Free challenges are non-refundable. No refund is available once any day has been marked complete.
7. Referral Program
Coaches may enable a referral discount on their challenges (5–30%). Challengers who have purchased a challenge may share a unique referral link. Friends who purchase via that link receive the stated discount. The referring challenger earns a reward coupon (10% off a future purchase) for each successful referral. Reward coupons are single-use, non-transferable, have no cash value, expire 90 days from issuance, and may not be combined with other discounts. The Platform reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
9. Intellectual Property
All content uploaded by coaches remains their intellectual property. By uploading content, coaches grant the Platform a limited license to display and deliver that content to buyers.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
